FORMAT INFORMATION
There is a brand new format for the event this year with all players on the professional Tour to start in Round
1. So established stars like Mark Selby, Judd Trump and John Higgins could meet up-and-coming rookies in
the first round.
This means that the tournament is four days longer than usual and fans will have the chance to see many more
players in action, with a multi-table layout at the Barbican in the early stages.
All matches up to and including Quarter Finals - best of 11 frames (one session), Semi Finals - best of 17
frames (8/9), Final - best of 19 frames (8/11).
Upon completion of Round 1, the order of play for all matches up to and including the semi-finals
and table numbers for all matches up to and including the quarter-finals will be determined the day
before and published by the Tournament Director.
The draw and Round 1 playing schedule will be available shortly after the seeding cut off point on
Monday 4 November.
All seats on Friday 6, Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 December are reserved.

HALF PRICE TICKETS UNTIL THE END OF JUNE
For a limited time only tickets will be half price. Half price tickets are valid between 30 November
and 5 December. Tickets must be purchased by Sunday 30 June.
